He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph R. Sternard and Hazel C. Sternard (Toonen); his grandparents, Christian and Olive Toonen; and his uncle Reverend Harvey Toonen O. Praem.
He is survived by: his wife Lee Ann Sternard; his sons, Mitchell Sternard (Janica) of Palm Springs, CA, Michael Sternard (Anissa) of Chandler, AZ and Steven Sternard (Jamie) of Winneconne, WI.; and his grandsons, Diego, Dominic, Mason and Chase Sternard.
