It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy L. Dake of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Roy farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dake and Elaine Dake (Elverson). He is survived by: his wife Karen Dake of Oshkosh; his sons, Troy Dake (Tina Hudson) of Oshkosh and Roy Dake, Jr. (Tory Jahnke) of Neenah; his grandchildren, Alex, Chance, Carter and Shyla; and his great grandchild Cole.
