She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bartelt and Esther Bartelt; her husband Randy Hess; her siblings-in-law, Raymond Leonard and Nancy Bartelt; Roland and Elsie Hess.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Hailey, Jacob, Eli Hess, Micaela, Micah and Marisa Toll; her siblings, EstherMarie Leonard, James Bartelt, Lois Werner (Gary) and John Bartelt (Pam); and her sister-in-law Robin Hess. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Winnebago Lutheran Academy Forward in Faith Campaign. To honor Ruth, please be sure to become an organ donor on your driver's license and donate blood whenever possible.
