It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sara Louise Helgerson (Oshkosh, Wisconsin), born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hanson and Lucile Hanson (Monat); her son David William Helgerson; her siblings-in-law, August and Mildred Helgerson; and her sisters, Marion Beatty and Margaret Kalow (Muggsy).

She is survived by: her children, Sally, Mark Helgerson (Shari) of Chippewa Falls, WI, Andrew Helgerson (Kathryn) of Onalaska, WI and Elizabeth Merrill (Henry) of Oshkosh; and her grandchildren, Emily Gray (Tyler), Sara Meinen (Matt), Jennifer Potterton (Jay), Lindsey Krueger (David), Austin Helgerson, Andrew Merrill (Liz), Margaret Rothe (Danny), Samuel Merrill (Rebecca) and Isaiah Merrill (Haley). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
