He is survived by: his father Daryl B Nikolaus; his pets, Arnie, Pixie and Bam Bam; his siblings, Melissa K "Missy" Jolin (Robert Anderson) and Steven J Nikolunauer (Berlyn); his half-sister Nicole S Hoelzel; his nieces and nephews, Cody S Jolin (Tess), Hank N and Hadley N Hoelzel; his stepfather David L Misterek; his uncle Joe; and his aunt Kathy Molinski.

Scott gave the gift of sight and healing through cornea and tissue donation, with the potential to improve the lives of over 75 people.
