He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Eaton and Etta Bowker Eaton; his wife Lori Stender; his sons, Ryan Eaton, Justin Eaton (Shawn) and Eric Eaton (Samantha); his brothers, Tom Eaton and John Eaton (Sharon); and his sister-in-law Sherry. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.
