He was predeceased by: his mother Debra Carpenter (VanDensen); and his aunt Diane VanDensen. He is survived by: his father Steven Carpenter (Christine); his wife Jaclyn Carpenter (Fletcher); his daughters, Cailie and Lillyanah Carpenter; his brother Timothy Carpenter (Star); his siblings' children, Tomas, Isaiah, Justus, Zander, Xavier and Quinn; his sister Teresa Daw (James); and his siblings' children, Zack, Elijah, Zoe, Elliot and Emma. He is also survived by four brothers-in-law along with their wives and children; and many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been set up by the family for the children's education, as well as supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
