He was predeceased by: his brother Robert Jacobs (Paula); and his brother-in-law Mike Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Jacobs; his daughter Kelsey Jacobs; his sister Julie Bell; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Wilson (Edith), Mary Rennert (Ray), Grace Reigh (Tom) and Kathy Velie (Stan). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
