He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ledgard Thomas and Josephine Johanna Feavel (Ebben); his grandparents, Thomas R., Minnie Feavel (Rohde), Jacob and Nellie Ebben (West); his wife Margaret Ann Bekkers; his children, Kaitlin and Trevor; his siblings, Rochelle Altenhofen Wagner (John), Douglas (Barbara), Richard and Robert; his brother-in-law Gerald Altenhofen; and also, Joy, Kathleen Ann, Katie, Jeffrey Thomas and Steven Michael. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
