He is survived by: his children, Patrick O'Connell of Oshkosh, Cari Blank of Oshkosh, Michael O'Connell of Madison and Mathew O'Connell (Jessica A.) of Appleton; his grandchildren, Jessica L. O'Connell (Sam) of Winneconne, Hunter Blank of Oshkosh, Rachael, Luke and Christopher of Appleton; his sisters, Lynn Huettl of Poygan and Sharon Huettl of Poygan; his niece Rachel; his nephews, Kevin and Nick; his great-niece Morgan; and his great-nephews, Alex and Dean.
