She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gustmiedl and Lucille Gustmiedl; her husband Donald Schumacher; her son Gerald "Jerry" Freeman; and her brothers, Arlin and Lloyd Gustmiedl.
She is survived by: her sons, Later and Steven Freeman; her grandchildren, Derek and Kayleen Freeman; her sister Juleen Groff (Jim); her stepson Don Schumacher (Annette); and her caregiver Lisa. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
