She is survived by: her husband John Smits; her children, Jessica McKenna (Brent), Olivia McKenna and Jacob Rentmeester (Donele); her siblings, John Thiel (Susan), Sharon Blohm (Ken), Susan Elliott (Jim), Michael Thiel (Shirley), Bill Thiel (Lori) and Ginny Cameranesi (Bruce); her grandchildren, Tommy, Ryan Boodry, Haley, Blake Fonder and Alice McKenna; and her caregiver Angie.
