Walter J. Scott Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 88, Walter J. Scott Jr. of Oshkosh, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter John Scott Sr. and Reba Gliden Scott; Florence Raddatz. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Scott; his son Walter John Scott III (Sidney) of Truckee, CA; his grandchildren, Vivian and Harley; his daughter Laura Coopman (Don) of Oshkosh, WI; his grandchildren, Candice, Caleb, Joshua and Elijah; his daughter Melissa Kuhn (Peter) of San Diego, CA; his grandchildren, Nikolas and Eva; his son Michael Scott (Lisa) of Oshkosh, WI; his grandchildren, Denver and Serena; his great grandchildren, Lilie, Valarie and Iyla; and his extended family Kathy Durand.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (226 Washington St, Menasha, WI 54952). The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be directed to the Boy Scouts of America or St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
