He was predeceased by: his parents, George Overton and Matilda Overton (Bahrke); his wife Lila Steffenson; his daughter Katharine; his grandson Nathaniel; his siblings, Mary Jane, Elizabeth, George, Thomas, James, John and Paul; and his brother-in-law John.
He is survived by: his children, Susan, John and Charles (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Berg (Joe), Nicole Hilbelink (Scott), Rebecca Millls (Marvin), David Blaauw (Evlyn Carley), KateLynn Schneider (Nathan), Nicholas Overton (Kristi), Matthew Overton (Tana), Ryan Overton (Brooke), Aimee Klein (Dan), Michelle Kanaknhalli (Anurup) and Kristin Walker (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Jessica, Wyatt, Joey, Greyson, Elizabeth, William, Sophie, Hunter, Skylar, Conner, Riley, Hezekiah, Dakota and Bristol.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Winneconne Masonic Lodge scholarship fund.
