He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Prasse and Eula "Judy" Prasse (Ackley); his wife Jean Saarinen; and his brother Richard Prasse. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Prasse (Jack Archibald), Judy Borrell (Paul), Patty Meyers (Ken), Sue Novotny (Stan) and Tina Prasse; his grandchildren, Jean Hayes (Eric), Clara Borrell-Tripathi (Snnahill) and Maddie Cutler (Joe); his great grandchildren, Dan, Emma and Henry; and his brother Jonathan Prasse (Jane).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Bill's name is being established.
