He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Henry and Edainah Leah Pauley Adkins; his wife Joyce Margaret Page Adkins; and his sons, Arthur H. Adkins, Jr. and Paul Anthony Adkins.
He is survived by : his daughters, Janette Kopp (Richard) of Gulfport, MS, Karen Harmic (Forest) of Huntington, WV and Polly Waldrop (Jack) of West Point, CA; his siblings, Ada Mae Martin of Culloden, WV, Jean Tassen (Danny) of Huntington, WV and Virgil Ray Adkins (Norma) of Ona, WV; his daughter-in-law Maida Adkins of Gulfport, MS; his grandchildren, Alina Mason (Daniel), Richard W. Kopp, Joseph Harmic (Amanda), Jennifer Gould (Brad), Brandon Adkins (Alicia), Steven Langley (Brittany), Janelle Langley, Benjamen Adkins, Emily Williams (Josh), Amber Parker, April Mitchell (Justin) and Derek Williams (Kacee); and his cousin Suzan Pauley Mead (Tim). He is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter.
