It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Jean Hatton (Huntington, West Virginia), who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Hodge and Viola Hodge; her brother James Homer Hodge; her son Bob Hatton; and her granddaughter Chelsea Jane Rickard.
She is survived by: her brother Roger Hodge (Helen) of Huntington, WV; her daughters, Lisa Phelps (Jeff) of Catlettsburg and Missie Chapman (Taw) of South Point; her grandchildren, Zac, Haley (Tyler), Dan, Brady (Lyric) and Bryan; her great grandchildren, Cash, Cannon, Crew and Brandi Jane Rickard; her aunt Connie Conley of Ona, WV; and her cousin Suzette Stevens (Cindy Obregon) of Kenova, WV.
Jean loved plants and flowers but we would encourage people to donate to charities she loved and supported including, Hope's Place Children's Advocacy Center and Hospice of Huntington.
