It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brandon Daniel Akers (Huntington, West Virginia), who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Daniel Sherk and Dorris Akers; and his cousin Kevin Sherk. He is survived by: his parents, Susan Terry (Sherk) and Danny Akers; his grandparents, Paul V. Akers Sr. and Shirley Sherk; his great-aunt Linda Maynard; his stepfather Jeff Terry; and his siblings, Paul V. Akers II, Justin Terry and Jessica Terry.
