He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Gilbert A Ratcliff Sr. and Jessie Vaughan Ratcliff; and also Dr. Gilbert A. Ratcliff, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Ann Donahoe Ratcliff; his son Bruce Alan Ratcliff Jr. (Lara Shelton Ratcliff); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ratcliff Buettner (Zachary Hunter Buettner) and Charles Alan Ratcliff; his children, Todd McHenry Ratcliff, Jonathan Clark Ratcliff (Veronica Esposita Ratcliff) and Ann Barclay Fuss; and his grandchildren, Harrison Robert Fuss and Margaret Marion Fuss.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church (513 10th St, Huntington, WV 25701). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Ratcliff Family Scholarship at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine (checks payable to the MU Foundation and returned to Linda Holmes at 1600 Medical Center Drive, Huntington, WV, 25701). Donations may also be made to the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Control Shelter and the Johnson United Memorial Methodist Church.
