He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Clifford Collins and Olive Luvenia Carr Collins; his wife Cora Lee Collins; and his in-laws, Albert Cecil Dial and Nellie May Napier Dial.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeannette Collins-Abbett (Jeff Abbett); his grandchildren, Chad Fink (Beth) and Mindy Fink (Keebie Gilkerson); his great grandchildren, Keaton, Millie and Nora; his siblings, Helen Louise Collins-Tomaselli of New Canaan, Connecticut and Donald Eugene Collins of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; his children, Gennie Sutphin and Matthew; and his pet Roo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to charities that reflected the causes closest to his heart: ASAP Animal Rescue, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
