He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Kelly and Lucy Kelly; his wife Emma Lou Kelly (Copen); and his brothers, Donald Kelly, Dean Kelly, Lloyd Kelly and David Kelly.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Linkfield and John Kelly (Kim); his grandchildren, Kelly Morgan (Bub), Mindy Clark (Andy), John Kelly II (Dani) and Jacob Kelly; and his siblings, Janet Martin (Jackie), Evelyn Peters and Dwight Kelly (Sherry). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reger Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spring Valley Memory Gardens (2813 Goodwill Rd, Huntington, WV 25704).
