He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Harris and Glenna Mae Beller Harris. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Smith Harris of Huntington, WV; his daughters, Angela Forth of Scott Depot, WV and Wendy Russell (Michael) of Milton, WV; his brother Gary Harris (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Amanda Forth (Timbo Nunnery), Alyssa Forth and Grayson Russell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
