She was predeceased by: her parents, John Manley Stivers and Olive Jameson Stivers; and her sister Sharon Stivers. She is survived by: her husband Ed Dzierzak of Huntington, WV; her children, Jan Stivers Dzierzak (Kelsey) of Bridgeport, WV and Jamie Stivers Dzierzak (Ally Bias-Dzierzak) of Aiken, SC; her sisters, Susan Stivers of Louisville, KY, Jackie Stivers of Fairport, NY and Sandra Palmer of Fairmont, NY; and her granddaughter Sophia Mitchell of Bridgeport, WV. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
