He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dewitt Hager and Gracie Hager; his former wife Alma Hager; and also, Barbara Jean Adkins, Joy Ray and Jeanette Hager.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Jean Prichard (Rusty) and Tomi Jo Posey; his grandchildren, James Adkins, Kenny Holton, Miranda Moore, Morgan Posey, Meagan Alcorn, Alex Prichard, Aurora Neace and Spring Poe; his great grandchildren, Tori Adkins-Rind, Jasmine Adkins, Ivy Moore, Laurel Moore, Isabella Holton and Logan Holton; and his great great grandchild Ember Adkins-Rind. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Handley Funeral Home- Hamlin (7350 Lynn Ave, Hamlin, WV 25523). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
