It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elgin Morris Ward Sr. of Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Ward (Fizer); his wife Emily Carole Ward; his granddaughter Amanda Ward; and his siblings, Teddy Ward and Marcia Mansfield.
He is survived by: his children, Elgin M. Ward Jr. (Myrtle) of Ceredo, WV, Timothy S. Ward (Lisa) of Barboursville, WV and Christopher B. Ward (Jen) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Jim Ward (Debbie) of Huntington, WV and Belinda Ward of Huntington, WV; his grandchildren, Bobby Pelfrey Jr., Michael Ward, Rachael Matthews, Tatum Ward, Josiah Ward, Brynna Murphy and Bryanna Ward; and his great grandchildren, Bobby Pelfrey III, Jasmine Pelfrey, Colt Pelfrey, Grant Ward, Zion Matthews, Piper Matthews, Canaan Matthews and Margo Ward. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family & friends.
