He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Nelson and Maltie Pack Nelson; and his siblings, Aileen Bailey, Hester Bailey, Bobby, Don and David Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Ferguson Nelson; his son Nathan Lloyd; his daughter-in-law Janet Nelson; his daughter Andrea Lenee; his son-in-law Zachary Marcum; his granddaughter Alexandra Collins (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Ella and Eli Collins; and his sisters-in-law, Patty Nelson, Martha Nelson and Dianna Nelson.
