It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Estel Lloyd Nelson of Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Nelson and Maltie Pack Nelson; and his siblings, Aileen Bailey, Hester Bailey, Bobby, Don and David Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Ferguson Nelson; his son Nathan Lloyd; his daughter-in-law Janet Nelson; his daughter Andrea Lenee; his son-in-law Zachary Marcum; his granddaughter Alexandra Collins (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Brynlee, Ella and Eli Collins; and his sisters-in-law, Patty Nelson, Martha Nelson and Dianna Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Noon. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1822 Chestnut St, Kenova, WV 25530).
