He was predeceased by: his parents, William Perry II and Ruth Elizabeth Lowe Brown; his daughter Christy Brown; his grandson Kalijah Sutherland; and his siblings, Jeannie Critchfield, Bonnie Brown and Walter Lee Larwood.
He is survived by: his wife Jody Brown; his children, Misty Spaulding of Teays Valley, Robert Brown (Ann Cook) of Taylorsville, Scott Brown (Lora Maynard) of Winterville and James "JJ" Brown of St. Albans; his grandchildren, Tiara Booth, Clayton, Tanner Spaulding and Madison Brown; his great grandchildren, Kodi and Braelynn Booth; and his siblings, Fay Childress of Willow Springs and Perry Brown of Teays Valley.
