He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Taylor and Margaret Miller Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Anita Stanley Taylor; his daughters, Mandy and Shannon; his stepchildren, Skyler Yates, Anthony Wolfe and Kaytlynn Yates (Charles); his grandchildren, Zoey Yates, Liam Yates, Ricky Yates and Blaize Bass; his siblings, Wayne Taylor (Melanie), Twyla and Brenda; his nephew Josh Turner (Megan); and his close friends, Mark Wright (Ginger) and Dean Cabell (Virginia).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital.
