Frances Hickman Perry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 96, Frances Hickman Perry of Huntington, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Hickman and Effie Connolly Hickman; her son Paul Perry; and her niece Frances Lynn Graven (Christopher Graven). She is survived by: her husband Simon Perry; her children, David, Thomas (Jennifer Perry) and Kelly Vaziri (David Vaziri); her granddaughters, Kelli Dixon (Shawn Dixon), Elizabeth Vaziri (Jake Van Koevering), Charlotte Vaziri, Madeleine Vaziri van Arkel (Jake van Arkel), Katherine Perry, Anna Perry, Leisl Perry, Elizabeth Perry and Genevieve Perry; her great grandchildren, Chloe Dixon, Lilly Dixon, Emily Dixon and James Van Koevering; her children, Eddie, Elias, Nadia and Riyad; and her daughter-in-law Diane Perry. She is also survived by in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services (1592 E Pea Ridge Rd, Huntington, WV 25705). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to her cherished alma mater, Marshall University, and The Simon Perry Center for Constitutional Democracy.
