Frances Hickman Perry Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 10, 2025, at the age of 96, Frances Hickman Perry of Huntington, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James William Hickman and Effie Connolly Hickman; and her son Paul Perry. She is survived by: her husband Simon Perry; her children, David, Thomas (Jennifer Perry) and Kelly Vaziri (David Vaziri); her granddaughters, Kelli Dixon (Shawn Dixon), Elizabeth Vaziri (Jake Van Koevering), Charlotte Vaziri, Madeleine Vaziri van Arkel (Jake van Arkel), Carolyn Vaziri, Katherine Perry, Anna Perry, Leisl Perry, Elizabeth Perry and Genevieve Perry; her great grandchildren, Chloe Dixon, Lilly Dixon, Emily Dixon and James Van Koevering; her niece Frances Lynn Graven (Chris Graven); her children, Eddie, Elias, Nadia and Riyad; and her daughter-in-law Diane Perry. She is also survived by in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to her cherished alma mater, Marshall University, and The Simon Perry Center for Constitutional Democracy.
