He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ray and Florence McCollins (Cline); his wife Peggy McCollins; his stepchildren, George Edward Groves, II and Georgina Gunnell; and his son-in-law Andrew Robinson.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Robinson, George Michael "Mike" McCollins and Scott McCollins; and his stepson Greg Groves. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
