It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Hale in Huntington, West Virginia, born in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on December 25, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Canaday; her husband Harold Edwin Hale; her brother Steve Canaday; her children, James Stafford and Annette Stafford; her stepgrandson Flem Walters; her son-in-law Larry Walters; her aunts, Linda Cheek, Norma Stafford and June; and her uncle Kenneth Fuller.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Shawn Pratt (Trace) and Mark Stafford; her sister Tammy Sexton (Cecil); her grandchildren, Trever Napier (Adriana) and Shelby Bailey (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Alarich Bailey and Jaelynn Napier; her stepchildren, Connie Sloan, Jerry Hale, Violet Walters, Ricky Hale and Della Hale; her son-in-law Eddie Napier; her cousins, Brenda Kay Wells, Lisa Horn, Keleen Hall, Kim Kelly and Bryan McKenzie (Jackie); and her grandson Simeon Peter Napier. She is also survived by grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren.
