He is survived by: his wife Terina Kay Adkins; his children, Joseph "Joey" Daniel Adkins, Jr., Kathleen Abigail Adkins and Joshua Dale Adkins; and his parents-in-law, Larry and Barbara Harkins. He is also survived by his brothers, sister, and various nieces and nephews.
