Lizette Marie Hager Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lizette Marie Hager of Huntington, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 71. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Lizette had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Lizette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Eugene and Teresa Loraine Panetta McQuaid; and her brothers, Carl Edward McQuaid and Terry McQuaid. She is survived by: her husband Phillip Hager; her sons, Derek Hager of Wayne, WV, Darin Hager of Alliance, OH, Darell Hager of Huntington, WV and Dustin Hager of Huntington, WV; and her brother Mark Anthony McQuaid of Nitro, WV. She is also survived by six grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jefferson Avenue Church of God (2039 Jefferson Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the same location.
