She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Rood and Hazel Mae Handy Rood; and her husband Raymond May.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the 26th Street Baptist Church (101 26th St, Huntington, WV 25703). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens (3547 U. S. Route 60 E, Barboursville, WV 25504).
