We are sad to announce that, on April 25, 2026, at the age of 98, Mayme Chapman (Huntington, West Virginia), born in Leander, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Mayme leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carpenter and Bess Carpenter; her husband Robert Chapman; and her sons, Michael Chapman and Larry Chapman. She is also survived by her two daughters in law, 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.
