She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Battle Sr. and Mary Bellamy Battle of North Carolina; her brothers, James Edward Battle Jr. of Huntington, WV and George Lyon of Rocky Mount, NC.; and her uncle Leroy Pittman.
She is survived by: her niece Nicole Battle of Columbus, OH; her nephew Jayme Battle of Pennsylvania; her sisters-in-law, Connie Mitchell of Gallipolis, OH, Friend and Sabrina Jewett; and her cousins, Nedrick, Reggie Dickens and Lavina Tackard (Jonella Coleman) of North Carolina. She is also survived by other friends and family.
