She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Shy; her son-in-law Larry McCloud; her parents, Richard Carroll and Ida Carroll; her sister Judy; her brother-in-law Dale Finley; and her parents-in-law, Joe and Willa Shy.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen, Cindy Shy, Stacey, Jody Shy and Stephanie McCloud; her grandchildren, Stephen, Paige, Cody Shy, Sammy, Michael, Landon Shy, Austin, Allison McCloud, Karli, Connor Morrison and Branson McCloud; her great grandchild Rylan Shy-Anne McCloud; her sister Sandy; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Hale (Joe), Sarah Shy (Grant), Tracy Shy and Vickie (David Smith). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
