With sadness, we share the passing of Nicholas Patrick Mooney (Huntington, West Virginia). Nicholas, born on July 24, 1947, passed away on September 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mooney and Francis Mooney. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Mooney; his children, Rebecca Chaney (Robert), Christopher Mooney (Nicole) and Nicholas Mooney II (Amy); and his granddaughters, Alana Mooney and Molly Blake.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1304 6th Ave, Huntington, WV 25701). A committal service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens (6155 E Pea Ridge Rd, Huntington, WV 25705).
