He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Wilson and Edith Virginia Bessey Wilson. He is survived by: his daughters, Veronica Swope (Stuart) of Huntington, WV and Candace Imperi (Joseph) of Huntington, WV; his half-sister Kathryn Terrell (Roger); his brother-in-law Chuck Blake; his grandchildren, Nathan (Maggie), Maddie (Nemo), Noah, Caroline, Josephine, Beauden and Gabrielle; and also, Carol Ann Wilson McVitty and P. J. Blake.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services (1592 E Pea Ridge Rd, Huntington, WV 25705). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (545 Norway Ave, Huntington, WV 25705).
