He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennard B. Minnix and Mabel Lorena Hunt Minnix; his siblings, William Minnix and Wilma Minnix McCoy (Duane I. McCoy); his in-laws, Roy Farley and Hazel Jean Farley; his niece Mary Martha McCoy Hogan; his nephew Shaun Kevin Johnson; his great-niece Emily Pearl Hogan Rupel; and his brothers-in-law, Donald G. Wetherholt and Donald L. Cline.
He is survived by: his daughter Tamara S. Minnix Rozzi (Ralph Rozzi) of Ona, WV; his wife Peggy S. Farley Minnix; his children, Leila Gabrielle Rozzi (Tyler Powell) of Ona, WV and Bryan Rozzi (Shelley) of Chesapeake, OH; his grandchildren, Brian and Paige Wentz; his child Renee'Rozzi of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Deven, Kylie and Bella Brunsell; his sister Marceline Johnson (Robert) of Huntington, WV; and his siblings-in-law, Billie Jean Cline of Jacksonville, FL, Joann Wetherholt of Huntington, WV, Jim Farley (Carol Thompson) and Ed Farley (Margaret).
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Beard Mortuary (3001 3rd Ave, Huntington, WV 25702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
