It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Charles Griffin of Huntington, West Virginia, who passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fred and Shirley Faye Daugherty Griffin; his wife Joy Marie Garren Griffin; his sister Kathleen Griffin; his stepmother Ruth N. Griffin; and his mother-in-law Annabelle Marie Garren.
He is survived by: his sons, Alex Griffin of Huntington and Cody Griffin (Lilly) of Chesapeake, OH; his brother James Griffin (Peyton) of Jackson Hole, Wyoming; his brother-in-law Mark Garren (Patricia) of Teays Valley, WV; and his caregiver Joyce Jenkins. He is also survived by three nieces, two nephews; and a special friend.
