He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Houvouras and Patricia Houvouras; and his sisters, Anne Houvouras and Amy Usher. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his siblings, Drew Houvouras (Jane), Rick Houvouras, Jack Houvouras (Tracy) and Mary Noel (Jay); his children, Andrea McDowell (Jeff), Arica Simmons (Matt), Ashley Houvouras (Josh) and Marc Houvouras (Christy); his stepdaughter Jaimee Duna (John); and his grandchildren, Kamryn, Carson, Wade, Hugh, Reef, Maggie, Lily, Luke, Lexis, Isaiah and Hailey. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Tom's honor to the Huntington YMCA.
