He is survived by: his children, Nickie Gannon, Sherry Ross, Jody Kalnicki, Tina Powell, Gary Melnyk and Marla Melnyk; and his sister Dorothy "Tutsie" Noga. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
