We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025, at the age of 62, Walter Ivey Ferguson Jr. of Huntington, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Walter Ivey leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ivey Ferguson, Sr. and Joyce Diane Flanagan. He is survived by: his wife Diane Dukes Ferguson; his son Walter I. Ferguson, III; his brothers, Arthur E. "Gene" Riley, Jr. and Bryan C. Ferguson; and his nephew David A. Riley.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1822 Chestnut St, Kenova, WV 25530). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Control Shelter 1901 James River Road Huntington, WV. 25701.
