He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lucas and Violet Damron Lucas; his wife Betty M. Lucas; and his siblings, Lavina McCagg, James Lucas, Jack Lucas, Donald Lucas and Bernard Lucas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie Wells (David) of Huntington, WV and Tracy Justice (Everette) of Wayne, WV; his granddaughters, Amanda Nichols, Sarah Ross, Kara Justice and Katie Justice; his great grandchildren, Shelby Fortner, Cheyenne Fortner, Gracie Jo Fortner, Dani Ross and Emma Ross; and his niece Connie Blake.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Home (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Reger Funeral Chapel (1242 Adams Ave, Huntington, WV 25704).
