Passed away suddenly in Bedford on February 20, 2026, at the age of 82. She was a Resident of Maison Dutch in Bedford, she was one of 17 children, the beloved daughter of the late Antonio Quirion and the late Alfréda Couture.
She leaves to mourn her children, Diane Miller of Virginia (husband: _Richard) _ Denis Plante (deceased) _Ricky Plante of New Hampshire, and Jeffrey Plante (deceased) _; her treasured grandchildren _Cherie (deceased), Chantal, Spencer, Elise, Ricky II, Robert, Phillippe and Alexa; her great-grandchildren __Kimberly, Serenity, Katelyn, Emilia, Baby boy Joshua due 8/2026, Gabriella, Nicolette, Mickaela, Luke and Robert Hamilton_ her great- great-grandchildren Benjamin Due May 2026 ; her living brothers and sisters include _Paul, Georgette, Solange, Jean-Noel, Gerald, Gabrielle ; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Marie‑Jeanne will be remembered as a beautiful loving and devoted mother, and as someone whose gentle spirit made the world a little brighter. She was a proud aunt, grandmother, and great‑grandmother, and her love stretched across every branch of her family.
She adored music and found peace in nature, her happy place was to be close to the ocean, and she was the kind of friend who made you feel truly cared for. Her warmth, generosity, and compassion touched everyone blessed enough to know her.
After raising her four children, Marie‑Jeanne followed her deep faith and devoted her life to serving Jesus Christ at the Foyer de Charité, Villa Châteauneuf—a place where she shared her kindness, strength and the love of Jesus with so many.

The family will receive condolences directly at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St-André Cemetery. Following the interment, family and friends are warmly invited to gather for food and refreshments in the church hall (the sacristy) located at the back of the church, where we will come together to share memories and celebrate Marie-Jeanne's life.
