He is also survived by his extended family, lifelong friends in the Pontiac and companions.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (56 Rue Saint-Jacques, Chapeau, QC J0X1M0). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Hermit Church (59 Chem. Sheen, Sheenboro, QC J0X2Z0).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gerald may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
