He was predeceased by: his wife Iona (McGuire); his daughter Colleen (Rob Schilkie); his parents, George Morris and Emma Newell; and his siblings, Freda, Sylvia (Fred Lemire), Vivian (Frank Littlejohn), Sheila (Mickey Hammond), Clayton (Rose Sullivan), Elwood (Clotilda Joyce Morris) and Mickey.
He is survived by: his children, Susanne (late John Lapierre), Bonnie (Tony Kime), Shamus (Joanne Laviolette) and Erin (Terry Morris); and his sisters-in-law, Patsy McLennan Morris and Pinky Corby McGuire. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hayes Funeral Home (56 Rue Saint-Jacques, Chapeau, QC J0X1M0). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Hermitt Church (59 Chem. Sheen, Sheenboro, QC J0X2Z0).
