He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Venilde Costa Carvalho. He is survived by: his children, Cidalia (Frank) and Michael (Susana); his grandchildren, Megan and Hayley; and his siblings, Fernando (Ludvina), Herminia (Antero), Zilda (Manuel), Idalina (José), Gilberto (Ilda) and José Manuel (Madalena). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
