Avis de décès de Declan William Arthur Ryves-Godon
Declan William Arthur Ryves-Godon passed away on March 7th 2023 due to a tragic accident. Declan was born on January 4th 2016 to his mother Samantha, her first and only child, and his father Shawn. Declan was bright, curious, kind, intelligent, adventurous, mischievous, imaginative and fiercely independent. He was the kind of person who stood up for what was right, the kind to protect and defend the underdog no matter the cost to him. He loved being in nature and getting his hands dirty, planting, digging for bugs and taking walks through the forest, but most of all, anything that had to do with water, swimming, boating, and fishing. He loved animals, especially his cat Domino and his dog Dolly, who slept at his feet every night from the day she joined the family. He was creative in everything he did, whether storytelling, building with Lego, or writing numbers and letters, Declan always created his own way of doing things. Had his life not been cut tragically short, he would have been a great man, and done great things.
Declan is survived by his aforementioned parents, his Godparents Chris and Brandy, all of his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous grand- aunts and uncles, second cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Early Childhood Disorders Program at the Jewish General Hospital. Their work is vital to children like Declan.
